Shipping and Returns
SHIPPING POLICY
We exclusively ship to destinations within South Africa. If you require shipping outside of South Africa, please contact Dark Side LeatherCraft directly to make the necessary arrangements.
Upon receipt of your order confirmation email, all orders will be processed within 1 to 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Upon dispatch of your order, you will receive another notification.
Please allow 3 to 7 business days for deliveries within South Africa, once your order has been dispatched. Please note that outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES
Shipping rates are calculated based on shipping class and service at checkout.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification from us that will contain a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor your order's status. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within seven days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@darksideleathercraft.co.za with your name and order number, and we will investigate the matter for you.
COURIER DELIVERY
Deliveries will be made by a courier company that has been engaged by Dark Side LeatherCraft. Deliveries are available on weekdays only, from 8am until mid-afternoon. Please note that deliveries will not be made on weekends or public holidays.
If you are not present at home during the week, we advise you to use your work address as your physical delivery address. You may be required to provide a valid form of identification and sign for delivery when your order is delivered.
Delivery times vary between 3 to 7 working days, depending on product availability and other factors. While Dark Side LeatherCraft is committed to delivering your order within the estimated delivery times, we cannot guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the specified time frame, especially if some products in your order are temporarily or permanently unavailable.
REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES
Please note that due to the natural characteristics of leather, we cannot process returns that are due to these inherent features.
We do not accept returns on custom-made items.
We accept returns of non-custom items only up to 15 days after delivery, provided that the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount, minus the shipping costs for the return.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at info@darksideleathercraft.co.za as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address such cases on a case-by-case basis, but we will make every effort to arrive at a satisfactory solution.
